Very good stay for a weekend, very clean and functional chalet!. Nicolas and fido very pleasant! Visited in May 2023
We had a very pleasant stay from the end of January of this year to mid-April, in a small "chalet" with all comfort and practicality, birds, frogs, green... in short, nature in all its calm and all its songs, a friendly welcome, attentive, for all lovers of simplicity, we recommend. Thanks again | May 23
We stayed for one night passing through with 3 dogs. Firstly, the tone of a campsite is set by the owner. We met his granddaughter who speaks perfect English and is lovely. We then met the Grandfather the following morning who is very pleasant but speaks no English, and my French is terrible. Big smiles though.
The quality and price are probably on a par with a municipal, pitches a little slopey and bumpy, and you may struggle to get a big caravan in with no motormover, but I rate it 5* because...
It is an old-fashioned campsite run by lovely people. A real treasure. Visited in September 2022.
Great place, quiet, wooded, surrounded by nature (for cyclists plan something to eat because you have to do a few km to refuel). The managers are very nice! Place full of history. I would have stayed there longer even for woofing or a season :)! Visited in August 2022
If there is a place in France where life is good, it is Pont Chouette.
A dream setting, 35 hectares of happiness for four-legged friends as well as for bipeds. A unique feeling of freedom with an obviously unforgettable welcome.
To recommend infinitely, for the magnificent views with the ponds and the small bridges out of time to discover, for the atmosphere that brings Nicolas and his smile as well as for the impression of being able to be completely alone in a haven of peace and to both like home.
For visits around, the castle of Bressuire is accessible and worth the detour, and the hikes are beautiful and numerous.
Feminine point: As a single woman, I felt really safe.
Finally, just one piece of advice: reserve a small parcel of happiness!
Thank you very much for these 2 months out of time,
See you soon, I hope,
